For example to show my pictures from Flickr that have been tagged with “queen” I would use :

[slickr-flickr tag="queen"]

Impermanence

Contemplating impermanence can also enhance your ability to touch joy. Both Patanjali and the Buddha emphasize that much of our duhkha (suffering or discontent) arises because we live as if current conditions are permanent. When things are going well, we attempt to live as if they always will, and we are disappointed when they change. When things are going poorly, we imagine that this will always be the case, forgetting that bad times too will pass.

The awareness of the impermanent nature of all things, including yourself, makes you more sensitive to the effervescent, joyful nature of experience. When you are awake to to impermanence, you do not take anyone or anything for granted. You stay in touch with what’s happening, feeling the joy of simply being awake to life. You can appreciate the good without clinging to it, and you are generally more resilient in the face of setbacks because you remember that, truly all things are impermanent.

YOU

from Johanna Waters’ yoga journal….

You…
You may not think the world needs you
but it does.
for you are unique
like no one has ever been
before
or will come again
no one can speak with your voice
say your peace
smile your smile
or shine your light
No one can take your place
for its yours alone to fill
If you are not there
to shine your light
Who knows how many travelers
would lose their way
and try to pass
by your empty
place in the darkness

In the Real Estate Business with Keller Williams

Darbee Fisher joined Keller Williams Realty Maui in 2007 after seeing a presentation on the value system of this unparalleled company.

The values at KW are God, family and business in that order and the belief system at KW is stated as:

Darbee live this value system everyday at KW.

She can still serve her clients through her partnerships with highly ethical and highly skilled KW agents here on Maui and throughout the state of Hawaii.

Please continue to call on her to serve your real estate needs. You’ll get at least 2 top notch KW agents for the price of 1.

Where the story begins…

Life changes in an instant.

Darbee Fisher (artist, realtor, yoga practicioner), was on a morning walk in Makena with friends, Barbara Kenrich and Pat Swatzel, and their canine companions, “Pono” and “Jack”, when suddenly, Darbee’s left foot stopped functioning and she fell to the ground. Darbee spent the rest of that day in the Maui Memorial ER. No one was more surprised than she was when she learned that she had a brain tumor! She had never felt healthier in her life!

Darbee and her husband, Robert were flown to Oahu where Dr. Daniel Donovan performed a brain biopsy at the Kaiser Hospital. On May 17, 2010 Darbee was diagnosed with a GBM and returned home to Maui for treatment.

Darbee is happy and strong in spirit although she is physically disabled by this tumor which has affected her motor skills. She cannot walk independently without assistance. She is currently undergoing outpatient cancer treatment at the Pacific Cancer Center in Wailuku.

Darbee is extremely blessed to have support from her Maui community. Among her support system are the Keller Williams Hawaii Ohana, the Maui Meadows Neighborhood Association, the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea, BNI Hawaii and Kihei Toastmasters Club. Her healing is dependent upon this awesome group of supporters!

She and her family are extremely grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and support in our island community!
